Nancy Brouillard
Nancy has a BS in Recreation, is AFAA certified in Aerobics and Fitness and has taught Aerobics for 12+ years and Yoga for 2+ years.

She is a longtime yoga practitioner, and participates in many outdoor activities such as skiing, running, biking, swimming and coaching kids soccer.

Judy Gross
Judy is a Professional Level (500-hour) Kripalu Yoga Instructor and a long-time practitioner of yoga and meditation. She enjoys leading local silent retreats and teaching Jon-Kabat Zinn's Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

Judy facilitates a 2nd Sunday Sit at Amherst Yoga, which meets the second Sunday morning of every month from 9:30-10:30am (plus optional discussion afterward). This monthly meditation program is for those seeking to deepen their meditation practice within the support of like-minded others.

Ginny Jackson
Ginny practices and teaches Ashtanga Yoga, Kripalu Yoga, and Somatic movement.

She has studied Somatics, a form of movement re-education, extensively, and is also certified to teach Pilates mat work.

Ginny is a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor and the focus of her work is to assist students in getting to know their bodies.

Ginny also holds a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology.

Barbara Landry (Owner)
Barbara Landry is co-owner of Amherst Yoga together with Michelle Luks. She has been a student of yoga for over 14 years, teaching Hatha yoga for the past four plus years. Barbara is currently enrolled in the Kundalini Teacher Training at Yoga at the Ashram in Millis, Ma. In addition, she is a Reiki Master, trained in the Usui tradition with Libby Barnett.

Barbara was recently ordained as an Interfaith Minister with the Rev. Stephanie Rutt at the Tree of Life Interfaith Temple, and currently serves as Chairman of the Board. Barbara is also a practicing attorney, and integrates the benefits of yoga, Reiki and a spiritual life to offer a holistic approach to life and its many challenges, as well as experiencing all of its joy.

Michelle Luks (Owner)
Michelle has been a yoga instructor for over ten years.

She teaches her students awareness of breath, body and mind, believing each are essential to the practice of yoga and the journey of life.

Michelle is certified with the American Council of Exercise as a group exercise instructor. She is certified by the Yoga Alliance and completed her yoga certification training with YogaFit.

Michelle is currently working towards her advanced 500 hour yoga certification.

She is a Certified Reiki Master.
