As our first session of the year draws
to a close, we are amazed by the continued support we recieve
from all of you. We have made some minor schedule changes
that we hope will enhance your overall experience here at
Amherst Yoga.
We want to thank stained glass artist Donna Joyce for the
beautiful new payment box for the studio.

New
Session, New Classes.
The one thing in life that
is constant is change. We have made the following schedule
changes as part of the process involved with the Amherst
Yoga transition that began in 2009.
Beginning with the next session, we will be offering
aYoga for Bone Health & Muscle Strength on Wednesdays
from 9:00-10:15am; and Revitalizing Yoga and Meditation
on Thursdays from 9:00-10:15am.

The Amherst Book Club Continues
with The Legend of Bagger Vance
Thank you to all who have made Amherst
Book Club the fabulous experience that it has become. How
wonderful to come together as a community to share our thoughts,
feelings, challenges, and greatest joy.
We have decided to read The
Legend of Bagger Vance and will be starting on Monday,
March 13, 2010 at 7:30 pm. Please join us!
We Have a New
Resource Page On Our Website!
In
response to our desire to share information as a community,
we have included a Resources page on our website. It is our
hope that we can provide links and addresses for sustainable
living. Please feel free to submit additional resources that
can be added to this page.

Free Friday Night Movie. March 19,
2010 at 6:30pm. What the BLEEP Do We Know.
What
the BLEEP Do We Know - First released in theaters

stunned audiences with its revolutionary cinematic blend of
dramatic film, documentary, animation and comedy, while serving
up a mind-jarring blend of Quantum Physics, spirituality,
neurology and evolutionary thought.
Body Rejuvenation March 20, 2010
1:00-3:30pm $25.00 Registration Required.
Come join Ginny and Michelle to find
out how to improve your posture, enjoy movement and experience
mobility once again. Through this work habits and patterns
shift in the body and the result is that the body becomes
lighter and freer increasing the ability to move with ease.
Free Mini-Retreat with Judy. Sunday,
March 21, 1-3pm
We're offering a free mini-retreat
entitled "Compassion and Self Care." Participants
will learn techniques for refreshing the body and mind along
with tips for bringing self-compassion into daily life. Program
includes mindful sitting, loving kindness, and movement practices
along with deep relaxation. All are welcome-no experience
with meditation or yoga required.
The community here is growing well
beyond the mat. The collective energy is expanding and becoming
