Greetings!

It's hard to believe the second session of the year is drawing to a close. We've had such a wonderful winter and spring of free events and happenings at the studio. LocalFest was a smashing success and has so many of us planting and growing our own food. A new awareness surrounding our nutritional health is easing its way into our community. Next week we will begin sign ups for the July-September session. We have some wonderful events coming up so read on...

Free Mini Retreat
Sunday June 20, 2010
9:00am-11:00am

Come this Sunday and join Judy in a Free Mini Retreat entitled "The Limits of Multi-tasking." Participants will learn about the hazards of doing too many things at once and the benefits of monotasking. Program includes mindful meditation and movement practices along with a deep relaxation. All are welcome-no experience with meditation or yoga required. Enrollment includes free two week yoga pass to all new students.
 

Youth Yoga in the Garden Camp
July 6-8, 2010. 9:30am-11:30am
Brewster's Field Amherst, NH

This three day "retreat" will explore the connection between yoga and our natural environment. Each day will be comprised of a yoga practice, meditation and interaction with the earth through gardening.

Young people will be given the opportunity to see the similarities between "planting seeds" on their yoga mats and seeing the growth, and planting seeds in the earth and seeing the results. Snacks will be provided. Parents are welcome to register with their children.

Cost is $75 per student.

Yoga Boot Camp
July 5-9 2010
6:45am-7:45am

Care for yourself over the break week and commit to begin your day with yoga. There are no classes running this week, but you can explore your practice in a new way by getting up and into this special series at the start of each day for five consecutive days.

Come discover how quickly you can find your way to a routine that enables you to travel through the rest of your day with peace and ease.

LukeeOm Full Immersion Retreat
Sunday July 18, 2010
8:30am-5:00pm

What is a Sound Circle? It is an evening of rhythmic release. Bring your own drum, or other rhythm instrument and join in the spontaneous energy that evolves.

Absolutely NO experience required. Come be part of an evening of fun.

 

 

Summer officially arrives next week, so get outside and enjoy the fabulous weather that has blessed us this year. As you wander out, pay attention, be aware, there is so much going on aroud you all the time. Just remember to come back to your mat, we're here all summer long.
